How to Donate to Chai Lifeline for the Landons from CANADA"Shalom Aleichem, We were in Savannah for the previous couple of years and are now in Canada. I posted a comment on the most recent blog about how to donate and receive a tax receipt in Canada. I spoke to Rabbi Rothman at the Toronto office for Chai Lifeline to find out how to do this, since an income tax receipt from the USA can not be used in Canada. I was hoping you could help publicize this, as hopefully all of the people in Canada who have a kesher with Reb Shmuel will be encouraged even more to donate. Basically, the easiest way to donate is online at http://www.chailifelinecanada.org/ and still mention it is for the Landon's and you will get a tax deductable receipt. If someone wants to pay by cheque, they should still send it to the North Miami Beach office, but indicate that they would like a Canadian tax receipt, and the donation will be processed through the Canadian offices. May Menachem Shalom ben Miriam have a complete refuah shelaima!"
