SAVANNAH JEWISH FEDERATION FUND EARMARKED EXCLUSIVELY FOR MENSCHI
(a tremendous thank you to Savannah's Adam Solender & Lynn Levine)
"Earlier today we sent our Weekly Email that contained a plea to support the Landon Family in their time of great need. After talking with Chai Lifeline, Rabbi Landon, and a number of donors we realize that the need may be served most directly and with the greatest flexibility by the creation of a fund at our Federation's Jewish Family Services. Therefore beginning immediately, donations may be made for the Landon Family through the Federation website." -Lynn Levine and Adam Solender
THANKS FOR YOUR GENEROUS RESPONSE!!!
BY PHONE (912) 355-8111 and a credit card (BE SURE TO SPECIFY LANDON FAMILY FUND as well as Lynn Levine-financial director)

2. go to menu tab in left margin labeled "ways to give"
3. select "donate to a specific fund"
4. a screen will pop up asking you to fill out your contact info and donation amount
5. on the bottom of the page, select "Jewish Family Services Fund"
6. on the final page you can put in the message that this donation should go to "the Landon Family Fund"
WALK IN drop off a check at the JEA. 100% of the contribution will go to the Landon Family. Checks should be made payable to the Savanah Jewish Federation JFS with an earmark "Landon Family Fund."
In the event that not all of the funds are needed (if insurance kicks in) and if/when Sloan Kettering returns any remaining money from the deposit, Lynn Levine(Financial Director of JFS) graciously offered that she would be willing to return money by special request regardless of the size of donation. Funds returned to individuals would be on a percentage basis.
In other words, the amount returned to the individual would vary based on the size of the donation and based on the amount returned from Sloan Kettering.
*TAX DEDUCTIBLE STATUS:
Whether this could be considered a tax-deductible donation would have to be determined by the donor's accountant.

Just so everyone knows , on the receipt they give you , it says that the gift is tax deductible as the UJC/Federation has 501(c) status.
