Last night Menschi had a shmeichel (smile) on his face thanks to a Mekimi Chanuka Party. This beautiful organization strives to lighten the load of families such as ours through a variety of recreational and respite activites (http://www.mekimi.org/). At first, I felt a little uncomfortable because the crowd was more chasidish but their warmth quickly dissolved the discomfort. Menschi loved the concert (even though parts were in yiddish).That kid has a yiddishe neshama!
