What a respite we had in Atlanta. It was so special being together with family for a simcha in a relaxed joyous atmosphere. AT enjoyed the Warga family library, Leah bonded with her little cousin Kaylie, Moshe Simcha enjoyed his big cousins, and Menschi was head honcho as usual. We also got quality time with Savta.
After a delicious Shabbos the kids worked off the extra calories (and celebrated Kalman and Tuvi's B-day) at BOUNCIN BOB's (indoor inflatable fun ).
Chani's Bas Mitzvah was ladies only and AT and Leah enjoyed staying up with the big girls. It was a pleasure helping set up a decadent dessert reception. Chani gave a beautiful torah speech and produced her own powerpoint (with a little help from Rivky). She also organized a remarkable chessed project to benefit Chai Lifeline. The girls at her Bas Mitzvah recorded Jewish stories for kids on cd's. Artscroll and Feldheim Publishers both donated books for the cause. I was honored to be able to speak about Chani and share some words of inspiration.
Right after the party we gathered the kiddies and headed back to Savannah. BH, there was not traffic. We made great time (home by 2 A.M.).
