Flashes of Hope

We've been keeping busy in Atlanta. Menschi had some pre-transplant outpatient testing(medical evaluation and transplant information). The BMT team(Bone/Blood Marrow Transplant) here in Atlanta is excellent. Hospital admission is scheduled for June 23rd ("preparative regimen"-high dose chemo therapy for 1 week) followed by transplant on June 30th. Menschi will have to remain in the hospital for about 3-4 weeks post transplant.

We had a photo shoot this morning at the hospital with "Flashes of Hope"(http://www.flashesofhope.org/ )a national photography organization that take beautiful family portraits. In the afternoon, we enjoyed some special family swim time. Menschi enjoyed dipping his feet in the pool and squirting Daddy with a big water gun.
