Today we discovered a beautiful retreat called Piedmont Park(thanks to our special friend Miriam Elan). The kids enjoyed the lovely playground and duck pond. We actually came upon a duck's nest with 2 eggs. Then, we had a delicious family meal together at the hospital. Thank you to our Savannah friends for arranging the meal. This supper was with a smile!Menschi is off of blood pressure meds. The bacteria responsible for the infection have been identified and the antibiotics have been adjusted accordingly. Menschi's body had an extreme reaction to this bacteria in part because of his missing adrenal gland. We hope that the other adrenal gland starts taking over the responsibility of the removed gland.
A cardiologist is now on the team to follow some irregularities (arrhythmia) possibly due to blood pressure meds or adrenal gland function.
