With Menschi's new peripheral IV line in his arm (instead of his chest) we can now (drum roll please) ...take real baths!!! Even though it's only been three months of sponge bathing exclusively, Menschi approached his bath experience with more awkwardness than fun, but I'm excited to potentially have a new form of diversion for the hospital! When it's time for his surgery (in about a month, Please G-d, things should go well) he will most likely have a central venous line reinserted(chest); we're enjoying the freedom of "arm tubies" and tub baths for the time being though . . .
