Shabbos was so much nicer thanks to Rachel Rosenberg (a friend and chai lifeline volunteer). Rachel slept over for shabbos to help out with Menschi. Thank you, thank you. Tizki L'mitzvos.Shmuel drove up late Saturday night to give us both a morale boost. Menschi reached out his arms to Shmuel as soon as he saw him.
No word on a discharge date yet. Menschi is still running a fever, mucositis (mouth sores). He had a platelet transfusion and some TPN nutrition (since he hasn't really been eating this week). His white cell counts are steadily going up (good news)! We have a good combination of meds now and Gd willing will see some progress soon.
Silver lining- I hear the pollen count is pretty high in Atlanta. Atleast we're staying indoors!
