What a memorable Memorial Day weekend! We are thankful for those who gave their ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we are currently enjoying. Our family had the opportunity to revel in some American History together -- We went on a unique "Staycation" as they call it now in recession days to "The Broad Street Guest House" in nearby historic Charleston, S.C. for Shabbos. Big thanks to the anonymous donor to the Savannah Federation that allowed for this much needed "Family time." This is one of the only Kosher B&Bs in America and we are grateful that Hadassah Rothenberg has chosen this corner to vend her hospitality. The B&B was tastefully decorated and charming, and the food was gourmet and delicious. Special accomodation was made for the children's diets and everyone was so impressed with how well they behaved (myself included!). Please visit the website to see the "Hanna Frieda Suite" where we stayed along with the nearby waterfront park and downtown that we toured
