We have a medical ethics dilemma. As you know, Menschi's HAMA is high which precludes him from receiving antibody therapy. The Docs at MSK would like to give him 1 round of chemo to lower his immune system (which will lower his HAMA as well). Menschi shows no evidence of disease at this time (Thank G-D). Can we subject him to risks of chemo for an experimentally preventative regimen? Thankfully, we don't have to go it alone. We will pose this question to a Rav who is highly experienced in such matters. We'll keep you posted...
