A special family by the name of Lieberman have opened both their hearts and their home wide to Menschi and I for the past 3 weeks. Lieberman is a very fitting name for this family (Lieb in yiddish means heart).It has been a real bracha to feel less transient for a change. Rikki, their daughter regularly volunteers with pediatric patients, and we met when she had shlepped out to Manhattan to lend a hand while I was in the Ronald McDonald House. Rikki and her younger sister, Chana Miriam, have entertained Menschi quite often. Mrs. Lieberman's culinary expertise added to the homey feeling (that will be palpably absent when we move back into the Ronald McDonald House on Sunday). THANK YOU!!!
Fortunately, we won't be alone in the RMH for long, Be"H, Shmuel is driving up with the kids over the weekend so we can all be together for Purim (and the week of antibody treatment).
