Next Up... "the Big Apple"

Sorry for not updating the blog sooner. Many of you have been asking about Menschi.

As you know, Menschi had some testing done in Atlanta. Thank Gd he has responded beautifully to all of the therapy so far in most of his body. Unfortunately, with neuroblastoma its "all or nothing". He still has a few small areas that are "suspicious"(legs and eye/cheek area). These are not new areas. They are areas that had once been larger but are now smaller (but still there). This being the case, to go on a maintenance regimen would be premature.

We have decided to enroll Menschi in an antibody clinical trial (Memorial Sloan Kettering is the only facility that will give this experimental therapy to all neuroblastoma patients). In Atlanta, Menschi would have to be randomized and possibly wouldn't get the experimental treatment.We want to make sure we leave no stone unturned for Menschi!!!

Once again we are working out all of the logistics in going out of the area for treatment. Deja vu!
