Menschi is enjoying being with his cousins. Everyone loves his enthusiastic personality (new and improved sans chemo).Cousin DJ had a very profound insight tonight. He had hurt is eye but within a few minutes was feeling better then he asked why Menschi's recovery wasn't quick even after having been in the hospital so long and getting so many medicines. "It's not right, Menschi didn't do anything why should he be punished he asked?" My sister told him that, "everything Ha-shem sends us is right even though we don't understand it. Who knows maybe someday Menschi will discover a cure for neuroblastoma himself?
Every challenge we are sent is meant for our growth. As painful as it is to go through health crisises we emerge as different people from the experience (hopefully for the better)."

Dearest Mimi,
This was my theme during my Yom Kippur davening--thinking of Menschi and of course a few other things as well. May we always have the strenth we get from this deep emuna to keep positive and give love and support to all who need it. "A Gut Yur" as they say in our Yecki shul on motzei Yom Kippur!! I love the new picture--you all look so wonderful!
All our love, The Barrons
Miriam - Keeping up to date with your site and sending you warm wishes from Savannah. We'll miss you over Sukkos --- remember last year? We came over first night of Sukkos to eat in your beautiful Sukkah, your mother was here, my mother was still jet-lagged and we had a wonderful meal together... Be"H - next year in Yerushalayim! We'll share a meal together as well! (we'll decide whose Sukkah then, ok?)
:)
