Menschi's bladder function is improving and he's progressing in his recovery (discharge Gdwilling next week).Great News from Dr. Ricketts. Pathology reports show that the tumor was removed with "clean margins". In other words, they got the whole thing. 95% of the tumor was cancer free (Dr. "K" took credit for that, but we all know who gets the credit). The tumor was stubborn but Dr. Ricketts had the tenacity to counter it. There are still scattered subtle areas that are cancerous in his body but we pray that the high dose chemo during transplant time will take care of those areas. Stem cell transplant #1 is scheduled for the last week in June.
