Celebrity Kids

WATCH US ON THE NEWS TONIGHT AT 7PM (CHANNEL 11NBC)

"FISH WISH" was a splashing success! The kids loved going on an airplane, and riding in a limo, staying in a hotel in the heart of downtown . . . it made the aquarium visit today the icing on the cake! A special thank you to the local NBC station, Georgia Aquarium, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for giving us this memorable experience. The aquarium here in Atlanta is the biggest in the world and the picture with the diver is in the biggest tank on exhibit (6.3 million gallons of water). The beluga whales were our favorite! By far the best part of the day though was seeing Menschi so animated and the kids having so much fun! This entire experience has been a beautiful respite from our medical reality and an opportunity to spend some quality time together before the next big chapter of Menschi's treatment(surgery).
Abdominal surgery(removal of adrenal gland) is scheduled for Wednesday. Please consider bumping up your spiritual endeavors (prayer, good deeds) on that day in the merit of Menachem Shalom ben Miriam. Stay tuned for another Tehillim Campaign (for surgery) as well as a Machsom L'fi Program (an initiative geared towards improving one's positive speech). Reading your amazing blog and seeing all the pictures you're sharing with all of us gives us such chizzuk. We want you to know that in addition to my small part in the Tehillim campaign, there are many, many San Diegans who include Menschi in their teffilot and ask about him daily. We love you - Elaine and Fred
