We were so grateful to be able to present Adina Tova with her very first siddur today. The Siddur presentations were originally scheduled for last week but a few classmates were sick and it was postponed. Shmuel presented her with the siddur and spoke beautifully:
A Mishna in Ethics of the Fathers states that the world stands on 3 things:Torah, Service (of Gd), Acts of Loving Kindness. We have three primary relationships in life. We have to learn to live with ourself, with Gd, and with others. Adina Tova is already working on integrating these principles. She loves to do chessed, she is learning Torah and now with her beautiful new siddur she can work on her relationship with Gd.
What Divine Providence that this special occasion was rescheduled on one of the few days that I was actually in Savannah! Stay tuned for pics of the event.....
