Purim was out-of-this world!
Here's the lowdown on our Purim:
By day, Menschi (along with Moshe Simcha) was a wizard (or a lizard as Moshe Simcha calls it --- he has trouble with his "w"s).This costume gave him a nice head of hair! The girls were the only kids up at night for the megilla reading --- Leah is dressed as a queen (she's not blinking, she's showing you her makeup!), and Adina Tova is dressed as one of Vashti's Jewish servants (her idea!)
The Shalach Manos were "out of this world" and when people asked us if we were going to the community meal we said we were "alienating ourselves" (which was true --- didn't want to expose Menschi to germs and being in aveilus at all we had to kind of separate ourselves from social stuff).
Our seudah was a blast!! The kids were interrupting left and right with Torah thoughts they were excited to give over, we had root beer and confetti poppers and the food was great --- kids help me make in the morning shishkabob with mini franks veggies and lamb riblets -- YUM Enjoy the pics, I'm exhausted.
